Anu Puustinen (born 1974), architect SAFA ARK 1203,
co-founder of Avanto Architects Ltd, studied at University of Art and Design Helsinki and TU Delft Netherlands before graduating as Master of Science from Aalto University in 2004. Before starting her own office with Ville Hara she worked at SARC Architects, Helsinki City Building Control Department and Helsinki City Planning Department. On the side of working in her own office she has been teaching at Aalto University. She has received several prizes and grants including State artist grant 2010 and Bryggman Prize in 2006.

Anu is passionate about architecture and wants to develop her projects to perfection working hard even on smallest details. She has impeccable taste and she doesn't give up until she is fully satisfied with the results.

Ville Hara (born 1974), architect SAFA ARK 1094,
is the other founder of Avanto Architects Ltd and studied at Ecole d'Architecture Paris-Belleville and Aalto University where he graduated as Master of Science in 2002. Before starting his own office with Anu Puustinen he worked at SARC Architects and in France, Croatia and Germany at Sauerbruch Hutton Architects. On the side of working in his own office he has since 2004 been teaching at Aalto University. He has received several prizes and grants including State artist grant 2007 and Bryggman Prize in 2006.

Ville is creative person that develops concepts out from the box like his winning entry in Wood Studio student competition, the lookout tower Kupla, that became his diploma project as well. On the other side he is very precise and requires high accuracy in the design.

Hiroko Mori (born 1982), qualified architect since 2011,
majored in architectural design and earned a bachelor' s degree from Tokyo Denki University. After graduation in 2006 she entered Keio University and studied widely from architectural design to urban and community design. She worked at Nihon Sekkei for 4 years after graduate school, and she got qualified as a first-class architect at that time. After that she worked at the Architects Atelier Ryo Abe before she joined the Aalto University Wood Program 2014-2015.

Hiroko is hard working, ambitious and very talented developing innovative wooden structures. Her design was selected as a winner at Wood Program student competition and her built Säie pavilion was selected as one of the best student projects 2015 worldwide by ArchDaily.

Piotr Gniewek (born 1987), architect,
studied at Tampere University of Technology and at Warsaw Technical University where he graduated in 2014. Beside working in Avanto Architects he runs his own office and co-operates with other offices as well. He participates regularly in architectural competitions and has received several prizes.

Piotr is expert in 3d modeling and skilled in rendering and visualizations. After many years working for Avanto Architects, he gets fast what is required and produces photo realistic images very quickly.
