Our entry Ruuth preserved the open historic site by pushing the extension underground. Only the three high hall volumes rise from the ground. The blinds on the roofs filter indirect top light to the exhibition spaces. The boxes are clad with glass facade with cut paper reliefs inside - resulting in an interesting paly of light and shadows. Extension spaces surround an outside sculpture courtyard making it easy to orientate in the building. Several cuts in landscape provide access to the building and interesting framed views to the surroundings.
